GRAPHIC DESIGN
Design portfolios are often a constant work in progress. Inside this link you will find examples and highlights of a long career in design. Everything from random freelance projects (including tattoos for friends, t-shirts for events, signage for non-profits I support, and even a custom hang gliding sail) to some of the high visibility corporate communications projects I direct as Head of Design for Global Corporate Communications at eBay.

pen & ink: large mandalas (30x30)
Possibly my favorite drawing, and my first one, I wanted to explore the Yin Yang, complimentary design surrounded by mandala-like, zentangle patterns. Very pleased with the end result even though this was before I developed my style of also shading elements to appear overlapping and dimensional. The original resides with my sister.

pen & ink: mini-mandalas (5x5)
In March of 2020 I decided to explore mandalas in a slightly different way from my previous pieces which were large 30"x30" designs using zentangle patterns. This time, drawing freehand while watching traveling shows, following people on their sailing adventures and van-life experiences. Funny how many of the mini-mandalas appear to be nautically themed.

acrylic pours
Colors and more colors! I discovered a new medium and loving the results. Unfortunately, many of these pieces have gone to new homes. However, they are always my a piece of me. One of my favorite aspects of acrylic pouring is that essentially every piece is an exploration where the results are sometimes very unexpected and magical!
